‘DRAMATIC MOMENT’

Actions wording, speech flowing
Arm wafting, tongue tasting
                                                        Continuous,
Words turn to action,
Flows out as speech,
Groping air as search,
Licking taste to touch.
                                      Causing arousal under,
                                      Hiding reaction beneath,
                                      Arms embracing, showing
                                      Hearts touching, emotions.

DISTANCE SAYS

Melody in a distant voice,
Harmony of the first fakes in winter,
Clock ticks and tocks like a song, I sleep,
I watch her, walk into far without fear,
She, as composed as the notes of a piano.

In contextual space, variables defined,
Static is communication, telepathic codes
Make me worry; I’m I good enough,
To court her back, using instrumentals?
Expand and contract, ideas in my mind.

Love converses with silent distance,
Eyes shut; I see images of mystery road,
Objects lost as subjects, someone said,
“We are bound as far set valleys.”
Do you consent to what distant says?

CHINESE CAME

Ten or so years ago, what was the android version?
During the cake sharing government, before crude oil,
When affordable education and taxes were manageable,
Then calamity twined to tragedy, terror and crime to friends,
And when medical treatment was cash based for majority.

When motors were more than prestigious possessions,
Bridges seasonally collapsed when floods came along,
Starvation real as fire, tribal affiliations blue as ice,
The whole world embraced a senseless ‘Oneness’.
While doctors worked hard to reduce the population.

Machinery and new construction knowledge brought,
They destroyed mansions along road reserves,
Slums were phased out, as markets were relocated,
Communication companies installed fiber cables,
Modernity couldn't let the peaceful land rest.

In sou'wester and panama hats, they braved the sun,
In hiking boots matching khaki pants and leather jackets,
They ordered the African civil engineers, the women
Watched and children marveled, at their peculiar faces,
Soon enough got used to their, flasked fluids and potted food.

In twenty years so much will change, should I fear?
When local business will be run by them, us sidelined,
And the currency in power will be the yen, globally,
The paper cause a rise of Afro-Asian population,
Our cultures farther eroded and blackness forgotten.

CHEMISTRY IN SLEEP

She goes, I delay with a book.
Stealing glances at curves,
Toes to neck, maroon-white duvet.

Hours later, I crawl next,
Her hands instantly land,
Over my chest, her fingers coil.

Her tender legs, diagnose my own,
As she grazes over my gentleman,
I kiss her front, she smiles in the dream.

She breathes above my thumping beats,
Ears to the rhythm; pump and pause,
Soothing her into musical slumber.

She withdraws, I face the other side
The field is recharged, effortlessly
Once more, the magnets attract.

Shifting round her arc, arm near glands,
Foot between her, itchy size five feet,
The inverse switches, until dawn emerges.

Awake now, she smiles before speech,
“I think, in our sleep we normally are,
Performing some sought of developing dance.”

CHANGE SEEN

Freedom incarcerated poisoned restriction,
Treason performed treachery on betrayal,
Religion turned soul spirit too religious,
Politics permanently polluted social segments,
G.D.P inflated economic status irreversibly.

Change in circular motion like;
Yellow, faded-red, white and now new moon,
As the sun comes and goes, accordingly, little change.

Cyclists notched onto motorbike transportation,
Touts brave, unlicensed drivers and lousy pedestrians,
Grocery vending, to cloth or utensil selling,
Yesterday a hawker, now hotel owner,
Lake puddle stream, now automatic car washers.
Sanity to some measure maintained.

Down the same street I once rode, mentoman;
Scanty hair-brownish like rusty iron filings,
Unworthy vestment and repugnant smell around,
In squinted visions he tracks and traces used cigars.

Tears, arranges the tobacco on writing paper,
Or aluminium foil or newspaper, carefully.
From gutter to kerb or mini-tunnels, I recall
Seeing him arduously searching and picking,
He smiles as he rolls it, I depart before he smokes.

Back to notice, more homeless children from the west,
If home is; love, care, tenderness and education,
Why do they prefer the sporadic traumatic streets?
If cheap is as good as free, I surmise this is an Open Home.

And with this infrastructural and technological advancement,
Old shows can only look different, but old as new is strange,
Same music and unruly crowd tempos, ineffective councils,
And the writers will keep writing about, status-quo.

BRITTLENESS

Yawning, sensitive lips, I cannot kiss
Her tongue covered by milk,
Week old still invisible teeth,
Gentle arms coiled, palms only hold air,
Skin hid from direct sunlight,
As we wait for melanin to strengthen.

Silk-eyes, innocent as pure, soft light scares
She wants to see the normal, she absorbs many
Into the angel in her soul.
Lobes, Nose Bridge; miniature sharp senses,
Listening on, noises cause her cry, one voice
That makes her nasal docile to a gland-comb.

Weighty world presses, frail feet will harden,
As she crawls into walking, thus show her worth,
I will remember her feathery mass.
Around us she will create a loving crucible,
Guided by suspicion, she will learn to imitate,
The mortar suspended above her by memory strings.

AT THE CENTER

Different backgrounds, perfect thing
Imperfect everything,
Divided by selection, alphabetical letters
Order of symbols, not similar even if,
They rhyme into the next, at given points.

Won’t touch zero to nine, compare to apexes seen,
Is the identity for you?
Aboard ship you sail closer, on canoe I drift,
Praying the island we seek can accommodate;
Differences, both basic and extreme
